"I was fortunate enough to attend a workshop at the Mansfield Community Center where I met Dr. Heather Ricker-Gilbert of College Gateways. After meeting Heather, I knew that she was extremely knowledgeable and could assist us in guiding our daughter, Sarah with her essay writing and applications. Sarah and I met with Heather for the initial visit and Sarah immediately felt at ease and allowed Heather to set-up guidelines and deadlines for this process. Besides attending to Sarah’s needs, Heather was there for me when I would go in to full panic over whether or not Sarah was applying to the right schools for her, if she met the criteria for those schools nursing programs, and she answered any and all of my questions. Heather is professional, informative, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in Sarah. Working with Heather made this process extremely bearable and, in fact, pleasant. Sarah was accepted into her top two nursing choices and is planning on attending the University of Vermont."
